Sunday 25th of March (I)

Part 1

Today was Time Change in Europe 2am became 3am, so I guess its also time to Change my Blog... after 1 month without uploading, got hundreds of things to tell, and thousands of photos to show:

First of all, nearly a month ago, my friends Ana and Marita from Valencia gave me (apart from a T-shirt) a Lunch of my choice as Birthday Gift. So I decided that they should cook me: Lentils, which I hadn't had since probably before summer. They bought everything, came to my place and cooked amazingly delicious lentils, the Spanish way; Muchísimas Gracias

¡¡¡Os Quiero!!!
That evening we watched some videos and pictures it was a really relaxing, nice time together.

Following weekend, I went to Denmark to visit my friend Ivan, also from Valencia who is currently undergoing Erasmus there. The problem was that he studies in a really small town (around 60K population), with no airport, so it was kind of an odyssey to reach there and to reach back afterwards...
I bought an Air-France ticket Paris-Amsterdam, and then a KLM-Dutch Amsterdam to Billund, which was the closest airport to Horsens (around 50km), the town where he lives. When I reached the airport, I had to get a bus to Horsens, but unfortunately the bus going directly there was departing in 4 hours, however there was another bus leaving in 3ominutes, which said in the front that it was going to Horsens as well as other cities, just to be on the safe side, I decided to ask the Driver if the bus -which had Horsens as a destination- was actually going there... he answered me in perfect english (as all Danish people I talked to) that it was just going to a Gas-Station 7km away from Horsens, but added that he could call for a taxi there to take me to the actual town... as I had no other option than waiting 4hours at the airport, I decided to take that bus. The funny part is that I suspect, the service of bus driver calling a taxi mustn't be very common or only business-men take it, anyway when I finally reached this Gas-Station, the bus driver got my luggage out and pointed at a Mercedes-Benz taxi Cab who kindly picked my luggage and took me to the destination, where my friend was waiting for me. Nice service, although the Bus+Taxi nearly cost me more than the actual 2 flights!!!
Once in Horsens I really had an amazing time. There where a lot of Valencian's from my University the Polytechnic of Valencia, studying in this small town, and the Erasmus parties where really really amazing;
That same night was the day of the Working-Women so they had set up a "Mens Auction" where girls could bid and get the guy they liked most. The guys had to dance above a table during around 30sec and the girls bid wasn't money but beers to be drank after winning the bid. My friend Ivan signed both of us up, but luckily my name wasn't drawn out, cause most guys in order to get a higher bet, started taking their t-shirts, trousers out... However my friend's name was randomly picked out from around 30 names... it is funny to see the video I made but obviously I can't upload it

Just to show how many people (girls) there was: (Oh btw Ivan got a bid of 51 beers one of the highest of all night!!
Next day we did some tourism through the town and to the sea (fjords) just 20minutes away from downtown

So definitely a very nice trip, where we partied and enjoyed a lot.
Nevertheless, I had another odyssey to come back, as it was sunday and there where no direct buses (again) from Horsens to Billund airport, and that night we where going to Aarhus (2nd biggest city in Denmark), to party, and the only possible connection I had, was to take the first train at 6:20 Aarhus to Horsens, (having previously left my luggage in the left-luggage office of the train station), and getting no sleep that night. From there, catch another train to another town called Vejle, and finally get a bus which will take me through the countryside to reach 1 hour afterwards at the airport... I was sooo tired when I got back home,at around 3:30pm that I didn't even go to the Erasmus bar (called Hide-Out) that following monday, and decided to get some sleep... cause following thursday I was going to: Budapest!!!

To be Continued...
